Elizabeth – Happy Healthy CaregiverParticipantI’m going through the entire goal process now! I’m writing it down and making a plan that I will share online in the Action Plan. Thank you for the steps!
Elizabeth – Happy Healthy CaregiverParticipantDo you have some favorite spices you always have on hand?
Elizabeth – Happy Healthy CaregiverParticipantCan you expand on this one…’Take some digestive enzymes before hand’? Thanks, Ashley!
Elizabeth – Happy Healthy CaregiverParticipantI shared this with friend at work who is a vegetarian and she asked me where you put other beans and lentils.
Elizabeth – Happy Healthy CaregiverParticipantLooking forward to what A&A say about this. We get so many mixed messages from so many sources…
Elizabeth – Happy Healthy CaregiverParticipantThank you for sharing my blog, sweet friend! 🙂
Elizabeth – Happy Healthy CaregiverParticipantLove having these for those weeks when you or I vacation or miss my regular workout days. Thanks!
Elizabeth – Happy Healthy CaregiverParticipantI love old navy best for workout pants, bras, and tanks! Seems like there is always a sale. I’m particular to pants with pocket on the thigh for my phone.
Elizabeth – Happy Healthy CaregiverParticipantAria – love the way you say you choose your chest meals. I definitely am continue to work on switching my mindset from being restricted and deprived to free and focusing on what’s most nourishing for my body. Still not perfect but making strides.
Elizabeth – Happy Healthy CaregiverParticipantLove the salad co-op idea!!!
Elizabeth – Happy Healthy CaregiverParticipantLove all this wisdom! I’m struggling with emotional eating so I’m going to try your regret self talk. Thank you for sharing!
Elizabeth – Happy Healthy CaregiverParticipantThis is so good. I am definitely looking (and being told by others around me) that I’m being denied pleasure, too restrictive on what I eat and I DO feel like I’m being punished. I see others around me indulging in whatever they want and they appear to be happy and healthy but who knows what’s happening on the inside.
I think I’ll write my WHY down and post it where I see it everyday.
I’m not punishing myself, I’m rewarding myself with better health.
I’ll also check out the Joyce Meyer resources.
Keep the good tips and encouragement coming! I need your strength….
xoxo
Elizabeth – Happy Healthy CaregiverParticipantI love the substitution advice. I’ll continue to let you know about situations that are challenging me.
Proud of me today! We had a going away party for 2 coworkers. I knew there was going to be Costco cake and cookies there. I walked in to the party with my La Croix sparking water so I had something to hold. I even helped serve the cake! But…didn’t eat a bite. Instead, I had packed a Brownie Quest bar to take with me to the office. I went back to my desk and enjoyed that after saying farewells.
Seems so silly but it was a big thing for me. Part of me was like I deserve to eat the dessert, too. I worked out this morning. I’m so good most of the time. But then other part of me was like “it’s not homemade and I’ll be probably just as satisfied with my Quest bar”.
We are starting a ‘Summer Slim down challenge’ at work starting June 1 through August which will help. I don’t even care if I win, I’m just happy to have others focused on healthy eating around me.
Elizabeth – Happy Healthy CaregiverParticipantI’ve heard of bullet proof coffee but haven’t really tried it- ghee or clarified butter and coffee, right?
Elizabeth – Happy Healthy CaregiverParticipantI like to have at least one day on the weekend where I don’t set the alarm…then I like to go make an almond milk latte, take the dog out for a squirt, and climb back in bed to read or catch up on my favorite blogs. Heavenly….
