    Hey! My gym has a structured weightlifting program, and they recently implemented a formalized warmup routine before each weights session. It is interesting to me that the beginning of each warmup involves foam rolling targeting the muscle groups that we are later working during lifting. My husband had also recently heard of rolling before working out rather than after. We were both surprised, since we considered foam rolling to be a recovery exercise. Should foam rolling be done both before and after a workout, just before, or just after?
