This forum is for all things supplement related. Feel free to ask any questions at all. This is NOT a place to sell your products or supplements so we kindly ask that you refrain from doing this. This is meant for educational purposes only or getting your questions answered.

Supplements serve a very important purpose. There are many debates over whether or not these are needed within the human diet. Alex and I have had many years of experience with supplements and we find that they extremely helpful when taken properly. You must also keep in mind that the right type of supplement (taken correctly) quality and control of them (shipping, stored in light bottles, plastics etc.) are all essential components to consider. They are simply meant to “supplement” for lacking vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. So much of our soil in the US is completely debilitated and it can be very hard for people to meet their micro nutritional needs on food alone. Most of the soil in the US is completely void of selenium and iodine which are very important trace minerals for example.

Below are just a few of our favorite recommendations if you are looking to start on a basic supplement protocol. We are also giving you our specific brands that we prefer and have experience with. We do not make anything by recommending these whatsoever, they are just the best that we have come across.

Alex & I find that a good quality probiotic, multi vitamin and fish oil are all extremely beneficial. Here are pics of our favorite brands. Remember, you pay for QUALITY and all of these companies specialize in their own respective areas. They take into account quality control, properly shipping and packaging products etc.

Is apple cider vinegar considered a supplement? Also, my Irontek suggest I take it “after” a workout. I’m taking it “before” on an empty stomach. Should I change that?

Apple Cider is not really considered a supplement per say. We do use it as a morning drink (add to water) to hydrate our bodies and also, we use it as a base to make all of our salad dressings. Is this the Irontek protein? Email me a picture of it and I will let you know! 🙂

    Hi Rebekah 😉
Good! OK, they have several products. I just confirmed with Alex that he thinks it is best for you to do both before AND after a workout!
